Abigail Archer's family has The Perfect Thanksgiving: polite manners, incredible food, great family, and lots of proper things. Our narrator's family has The Perfect Thanksgiving: burnt turkey with smoke alarms going off, rude manners including burps and slurps, great family, and lots mischief. The two families have completely different Thanksgivings but they are both "perfect in every way!" This is an enjoyable read aloud. Bonus: the two turkeys from the cover appear on the pages of the story making it fun to find them as you read.
